Investments - particularly those that involve the change of control of a company - only work when they work well for all parties involved. While it is important to be aware of and sensitive to cultural differences when conducting business internationally, the principles of transparency, trust, and partnership are universal. Developing relationships is a very important part of doing business, and I see more similarities than differences when I travel the world.
