Her career propelled forward with other noteworthy performances such as Younger Amy March in Little Women (1994), Judy Shepherd in Jumanji (1995), Sara Weaver in TV's The Siege at Ruby Ridge (1996), Tina Spangler in TV's Fifteen and Pregnant (1998), and Christy Fimple in Small Soldiers (1998). In 1999 her role as Lux Lisbon in Sofia Coppola's Independent film, The Virgin Suicides, won high reviews, and her energetic role as Torrance Shipman in Bring It On (2000) showed a more comedic acting side. Kirsten pocketed more roles until she found herself the love interest of Spider-Man in the highly successful Spider-Man (2002). In Spider-Man 2 (2004), we find Kirsten back as character Mary Jane Watson in the well-received sequel. Kirsten will remain just as busy, with Elizabethtown due out in (2005), Marie-Antoinette (2006), and the highly anticipated Spider-Man 3 being announced with a hopeful release date in the summer of 2007.
